Clean Beauty For All

The Problem:
We’re exposed to many toxic chemicals in our beauty and personal care products, and they aren’t being regulated in the U.S.
Everyone who uses personal care items in the U.S. is exposed to many toxins, men and women alike– unless they are using clean products from companies that are transparent about their ingredients and their toxicity.
While the European Union has banned a comprehensive list of thousands of chemicals (Cosmetics Products Regulation, Annex II), the FDA only regulates 12.
Chemicals commonly found in personal care items can cause reproductive harm, cancer, hormone and endocrine disruption, and developmental problems.
These toxins not only harm us, but they harm the environment too, polluting our waterways, soils, and oceans.
California is making strides with the passage of AB 2762, banning 24 additional toxic chemicals as of Jan 1, 2025. But the rest of the country remains at risk.
Overall, there is a lack of transparency and accountability– consumers are being harmed without realizing it.
We demand clean options at retailers and a more comprehensive regulation of toxic chemicals in beauty products.

“If you put some of these products directly onto your skin and they contain PFAS, there’s a very high potential for them to be transferred across the skin.”
